One of my favorites, Springdale Station is where modern and industrial meet to make a wedding venue like no other. Located in East Austin, Springdale Station offers multiple rooms for your event, one-acre outdoor space, and parking for a couple hundred guests.

Another downtown Austin staple, Allan House is located in one of the most historic parts of the city. It's known for its gorgeous white Victorian home, blending historic charm with a contemporary feel.

Sekrit Theater

When they say the phrase, "Keep Austin Weird," Sekrit Theater is one of the last surviving testaments to this. A long-standing venue of Austin events for decades, this one-of-a-kind venue is an outdoor-only spot, but with real quirk and personality infused into it.

Its most infamous feature is the old greenhouse but also has neat features like a vintage school bus, old tubs, eclectic items from garage sales, etc.

For a small rental fee, you can rent this venue online.

Mattie's Restaurant

One of my most favorite spots for smaller weddings, Mattie's Restaurant is a chic, quaint spot for your special day. They offer a mezzanine, lounge, and a room they call The Table Royal that you have to see! Plus, with catering built into the experience, it takes out one extra thing to worry about!

House on the Hill

Considered one of the most affordable wedding venues in Austin, with accommodations, House on the Hill is a quaint spot in the Hill Country, perfect for weddings with less than 100 guests. You get the venue all weekend, with some rooms for guests to stay in, making it a very popular choice for couples!

Peached Social House

With an urban design and modern edge, Peached Social House is a unique wedding venue in Austin. It's a multi-functional event venue, able to accommodate 105 seated guests, with two levels to spread the event apart.

It also offers in-house catering through Peached Tortilla, a catering company infamous for delicious food!

Chapel Dulcinea

The only truly free wedding venue in Austin, Chapel Dulcinea, is perfect for elopements and micro-weddings. It has, of course, an open-air chapel for you to get married in. It isn't strictly religious, though. Couples are permitted two hours on the premises, and the chapel can comfortably seat maybe twenty people with standing space.

Canyonwood Ridge is another favorite wedding venue in the Hill Country that offers luxury-level care, multiple event spaces, and a modern style to bring out any wedding vision. The Addison Grove

Surrounded by giant trees, this beautiful venue offers rustic charm with a gorgeous barn with enough space for a couple hundred guests. Nestled in the beautiful Hill Country, The Addison Grove offers a large bridal suite, fire pit, and romantic oak trees.

With a sophisticated charm that only a villa in the Hill Country can provide, Stonehouse Villa recently expanded to develop an absolutely wonderful reception hall. Big enough to seat a couple hundred guests, this event venue is fit for any special occasion.

If someone is planning a luxury wedding, then an estate is definitely something to check out. High Pointe Estate, to be exact! With eye-catching views of the San Gabriel River Valley, it offers a Great Hall for receptions, a chapel, a grand lawn, a terrace, and a ceremony tree.

One of my favorite Austin wedding venues, 800 Congress is located downtown with a terrace, exposed brick, and can seat up to 300 guests. It's within walking distance of things to do, perfect for guests traveling in for your wedding day.

Brazos Hall

Another one of my favorites (I have a few!), Brazos Hall is one of those success stories you don't get to hear about often. Back in 2020, the venue announced it would be shutting down due to developers in the downtown area.

Imagine my delight when in 2023, it reopened for business! Brazos Hall is an urban wedding venue with multiple event rooms, a rooftop terrace, and space to fit hundreds of guests. Make sure to check out my venue guide for more information!

One Eleven East

More north of Austin, in Hutto, One Eleven East is a historic urban loft built in 1893 with white-washed bricks, gorgeous flooring, and an outdoor courtyard. It's a beautiful venue with a built-in bar, and industrial-style glass. It can also seat up to 150 guests.

Carpenter Hotel

One of my favorite ATX boutique hotels is the Carpenter Hotel. Cozied amongst pecan trees, this spot is great for getting gussied up for your weddings. It has a super cute cafe, a restaurant (perfect for a rehearsal dinner!), and an idyllic pool to hang out at.

Located in the heart of the Rainey Street District, Hotel Van Zandt is extremely popular for all kinds of special events. Three restaurants, two bars, a coffee shop, and a stunning rooftop pool. All of that in South Congress Hotel! This boutique hotel is popular for couples looking to get ready and married all in the same spot, while being extremely close to other accommodations guests might choose.

It's also great for photography, due to it being walkable to popular murals and buildings.

The Driskill

The oldest hotel in Austin, The Driskill, brings incredible charm to up-scale weddings. It has an old-world feel, and rumor has it that some locations are haunted! One of the only haunted hotels in the Austin area, in fact!

Hotel Ella

Nothing gets more boutique than Hotel Ella, a historic mansion built in the last 1800s. Elegant white columns, sweeping porch, and enough rooms to fit your small guest list, this is one of the most beautiful boutique hotels in downtown Austin. Walkable to the Texas State Capitol, you can take in Austin history daily when you stay here!

Who doesn't want beer and pizza on their wedding day? Okay, well, not everyone—but you might! Jester King Brewery is located in Hill Country and is a great spot to hang with your loved ones. They have different event spaces, including a rustic hall, the brewery gardens, and the Jester King Inn for accommodations!

The Oasis On Lake Travis

With the best views of Lake Travis, The Oasis is a venue unlike any other. Multi-storied, with restaurants and stores—if you want it, The Oasis has it! And if you're lucky, you'll even get one of the infamous Hill Country sunsets on your special day!

Vuka

Vuka is for couples looking for a bohemian vibe with nature woven into it all. There are two locations in Austin, with each having its own benefits. One is in South Austin, while the other is in North Austin. Either spot is located near hotels and the airport, making it easy for your Aunt Beth to find her way, even if the GPS confuses her.

The Mansion

Austin is still full of history, and The Mansion is smack dab in the middle of it. Located in downtown Austin, this mansion was built in 1931 and has hosted some of the most diverse events you can imagine. It's most well known for its pale blue reception hall with white molding.

It can also host up to 300 guests, making it perfect for large weddings.
