To celebrate and honor members of the Texas Business Leadership Council, each year they recognize a member with the David Weekley Public Policy Leadership Award. In 2018, the award’s dinner was held at the Omni La Mansion del Rio Hotel in San Antonio. It was attended by many influential business owners in and around the Austin, San Antonio area. The San Antonio Spurs mascot even made an appearance.
