What I didn't expect was finding an elegant event venue in Lockhart as well! Located just 30 minutes from downtown Austin, Two Wishes Ranch is a modern take on ranch charm, with a stunning gray barn with sliding barn doors that open to the ceremony site.
As a wedding photographer, I cannot speak highly enough about this wedding venue, so let me share some of my favorite parts about Two Wishes Ranch.

The Getting Ready Spaces
When Two Wishes Ranch was built, it was clearly planned with the perfect blend of both photography and comfort in mind. They have two getting-ready spaces: The Little Wish Suite and The Lucky Penny Suite.
Both offer beautiful natural light (a wedding photographer's dream!), and the Little Wish Suite is a little ways away, offering privacy for them to chill with their wedding party.

An incredible thing about Lockhart is how close it is to Austin, San Marcos, and even San Antonio. This makes it easy for guests to come to your event—it's a short drive from different hotels and places to stay.
But it's also removed enough to really immerse you in the quiet, country life of Texas. That's something I really, really love about it!
