The Addison Grove: A Gorgeous Ranch Venue in Austin's Hill Country

Thinking About Having a Wedding At The Addison Grove?

In the heart of Texas Hill Country is a wedding venue known as The Addison Grove. Less than twenty minutes from downtown Austin, The Addison Grove is a modern ranch wedding venue built for luxury and comfort.

There are so many reasons I love this wedding venue, and the gorgeous charm of Austin's Hill Country is one of the top ones! A slate-colored barn, a perfectly positioned ceremony spot, and a gorgeous bridal suite?

Hell yeah!

This venue is built for the most amazing wedding experience and I can't wait to tell you all about The Addison Grove.

About The Addison Grove

Opened in 2016, this wedding venue took the local wedding scene by storm. I've loved it from the beginning and I'm positive you will too!

When you first arrive at The Addison Grove, you'll immediately be enamored by the peaceful setting on the enchanting grounds. Towering oak trees, sprawling lawns, and a distinctive barn big enough to host hundreds for events.

Many a dream wedding have been hosted here, and I can promise that all of them have been absolutely stunning—because it'd be difficult to have an ugly wedding here!

Brought to you by the same company that owns Prospect House, another Austin wedding venue, this ranch venue was literally built to offer an unforgettable experience for clients and vendors alike.

6 Reasons To Love The Addison Grove

This luxury wedding venue has so much to love about it, but I want to go over what I consider to be the top five reasons you'll love The Addison Grove.

Great Location!

Just twenty minutes from downtown Austin, The Addison Grove is in the Dripping Springs area, surrounded by hills and oak trees. You could get ready in the city and then head to the Hill Country for the venues tree lined grove and breathtaking natural light.

You can find The Addison Grove at 11903 Fitzhugh Rd Austin, TX

A Picturesque Backdrop For Your Ceremony

Not many wedding venues plan their ceremony space around the sunlight. Some venues don't have that luxury, but sometimes, I wonder what the heck some venue builders were thinking. Don't they know that guests want to be able to see the couple and not sweat in the sun?

The Addison Grove took so much into account, and the background for the ceremony is definitely one of the details they spent time considering. When the venue was being built, it's clear they decided to preserve the looming oak trees to keep the shade.

They've positioned the ceremony spot in an ideal location, with the warm evening light casting natural beauty across the scene. You'd be hard-pressed to find an ugly spot here!

A Wedding Venue Built For Pictures

Like I mentioned above, the venue was built with a lot of intention. Amongst the grove of oak trees is a breathtaking pasture view with longhorn cattle to charm your guests.

There are nooks for hanging dresses, covered areas for first looks, and the bridal suite creates a luxurious feel to the experience and photography.

When getting ready with your wedding party, you can sip champagne under the chandeliers while getting primped in the beautifying area with mirrors and lights.

A Reception Hall Fit For Hundreds

Whether it's scalding hot or chilling you to the bone, the weather won't matter thanks to the 6,000-square-foot barn. The venue can host all wedding sizes, but it's definitely built to host larger events!

Another incredibly photographic spot, the barn is the perfect setting for a beautiful reception. With large overhead beams and grande chandeliers, you can create a floor layout that will best suit your event.

I've seen large weddings here with two hundred guests and still have space for a band and dance floor. Now that's impressive!

Complimentary Benefits

While you're busy taking photos during cocktail hour, your guests can play with the complimentary lawn games. The beautiful venue has plenty of outdoor spaces, and your guests can also walk the entire property to keep themselves busy in between getting drinks at the bar.

You also have the support of a venue manager and their amazing team during the wedding day to make sure things go smoothly for anything venue-related. Keep in mind that venue managers are not wedding planners, though!

Beautiful Bad Weather Plan

Sometimes the weather doesn't behave the way we'd like, especially on a wedding day. You can spend a hundred hours on the wedding planning process, but Mother Nature doesn't care!

If it turns out to be too cold or the rain clouds are determined to create a flood, you can have a wedding ceremony inside the reception hall. Since it's a 6,000-square-foot space, this can be done pretty easily!

As a reminder, a wedding planner can make your life so much easier, so I recommend hiring one so if you need to go to Plan B thanks to rain, the planner can handle it all without stressing you out!

The Best Spots Of The Addison Grove

This venue is built for all kinds of events and if you're looking for an indoor-outdoor experience, the venue is ready to make your vision happen! But let's go over the different spaces that will enhance how your wedding day unfolds.

The Grooms Room

This 450-square-foot room is definitely cozier and masculine. It comes with a pool table, bathroom, couch, kitchen nook and a big-screen TV. It's completely hidden from view of the bridal suite, so there isn't a lot of potential for an accidental looksie.

The Bridal Suite

I touched base on it already, but I cannot emphasize enough how beautiful the 1,800-square-foot bridal suite is!

Made up of three rooms—hair/makeup space, the lounging area, and the dressing room—it can fit a large bridal party very comfortably.

With a full kitchen and a massive dining table, it can make the entire getting ready process a really comfortable experience!

It also opens to a private and manicured garden where I've held first looks and family photos at before. No need to traipse across the grounds for a first look if you don't want to!

The Covered Cocktail Patio

One neat feature of the 6,000-square-foot reception barn is the attached covered patio. The barn itself has rolling glass doors that can open and close, making it easy to expand the reception space as needed.

But even if you decide to keep the rolling glass doors closed, it's a great spot for cocktail hour. You can host bar services right there, letting your guests sip your signature drink while admiring the enchanting grounds of the Hill Country.

There is also a fire pit and complimentary lawn games like I've already mentioned.

I've even seen there to be enough space for beer donkeys!
