Six Women-Owned Businesses of Lockhart, TX

Here are some of my favorite places in Lockhart, TX

When I moved to Lockhart, TX, in 2022, I fell in love with the small-town charm. If you’ve ever been to a small town in Texas, you know what I’m talkin’ about! There are always a handful of small businesses ready to serve their local community.

Well, Lockhart is no different! In fact, it’s a pretty tight-knit community, which was one of the major draws for my wife and I!

I’ve made some incredible friends in Lockhart, and I’m absolutely positive that you’ll benefit from knowing about their amazingness as well! So, let’s dive into these incredible women-owned businesses in Lockhart!

Fiddler’s Green Music Shop

Jenn Miori Hodges owns Fiddler's Green Music Shop with her husband, Ben Hodges.  Fiddler's Green is an all-acoustic instrument shop featuring guitars, banjos, mandolins, ukuleles, and harps.

Jenn also offers private voice and guitar lessons at the shop for children and adults.  When she's not tuning instruments, she can be found playing guitar on stages across Texas in her country band, Jenny and the Corn Ponies, and trying to keep up with her two boys, ages 6 and 8.

Jenn and Ben have lived in Lockhart since 2015 and moved their business to Lockhart in 2020.
