6 Luxury Features of The Arlo: A Dripping Springs Venue

This Luxury Wedding Venue in Dripping Springs Is An Absolute Gem

When The Arlo first opened a couple of years ago in the Texas Hill Country, it was an immediate wedding vendor favorite. There are so many wedding venues in Dripping Springs, but The Arlo was built with not only comfort in mind but photography as well.

It's a stunning blank canvas with a modern yet classic style that helps engaged couples bring their vision to life.

When you arrive at The Arlo, you'll wonder if you're still in Texas, with the stunning views, enchanting lush surroundings, and the infamous courtyard with bright green grass.

The first time I saw it all, I was smitten, and for so many reasons. One of them is that while I live in Lockhart now, I've always appreciated that it's so close to Austin's city center. Makes it easy for guests to Uber or Lyft after a night of partying.

But there are tons of other amazing benefits of having a wedding at The Arlo, so let's go over what makes this wedding venue so darn special!

About This Wedding Venue

With over 15,000 square feet of event space, which is broken up into smaller spaces meant to direct the flow of guests, every event here has a real opportunity to shine.

It's clear that when this wedding venue was built, someone consulted photographers because there are so many photogenic features around the property!

Launched in 2021, The Arlo has taken Dripping Springs by storm. Probably because it can accommodate more than 200 guests, which makes it perfect for a variety of events.

Speaking of location, it's also great due to being so close to Austin's city center. Mere minutes from downtown Austin, your out-of-town guests can travel from their hotel to the venue easily.

Features of The Arlo, Austin

The Bridal Suite

Easily one of the prettiest bridal suites in the Texas Hill Country, it offers a clean, spacious lounge area where more than a dozen folks can fit in. It also has a mini kitchen for champagne and noshes.

It has a beauty bar with seats, a small kitchen, a designated sitting area with plush couches, and an area specific for changing and getting your dress on.

There are many other Austin wedding venues that offer this kind of spacious private dressing areas, so if you have a larger bridal party, this is absolute perfection for you.

The Cottage

One of the things I really appreciate about the venue is that they have a space for what would traditionally be a groom's suite—but it isn't built with masculinity in mind.

It's a 1500 square foot cottage with a kitchen, bedroom, and living room area, providing enough space for both a wedding party and family getting ready or just relaxing.

Personally, as an LGBTQ-friendly photographer, I can appreciate a separate getting-ready space that isn't forcing one partner into a cramped, overly-masculine space. And the cottage delivers in spades.

The Stairs

One of the best features of this wedding venue is the sweeping staircase that sprawls below the huge windows of the reception space.

It's perfect for wedding party portraits, couples portraits, or even doing a grand exit with sparklers! Make sure to request a unique portrait here!

The Arlo Lawn

One of the best details of The Arlo is the lush courtyard. It's one of those spaces that remain the same all year round, thanks to premium grass installation.

It's one of the more elegantly designed spaces, with modern, large windows in the background, trees, and a way for guests to immediately exit the ceremony to a cocktail hour outside.

The Ballroom

The features of the wedding venue feel endless, and they kind of are. But the real winner here is the 4,600 square foot ballroom, an elegant space to hold your wedding reception.

It offers natural light (and a view of the sunset), doors to the sweeping staircase out back, and plenty of space to accommodate a dance floor, even with hundreds of guests.

This wedding reception space continues to keep luxury in mind, with its bright floor plans and every detail thoughtfully planned. You can access every space of the venue from the ballroom, making it the perfect central point for your big day.

Storie Hall

While they have an outdoor space for ceremonies, a lot of engaged couples prefer to get married in Storie Hall.

As I'm sure you've come to realize, The Arlo offers so much space for weddings, but this 1,500 square-foot ceremony hall offers a climate-controlled space that can be flexible for religions/beliefs/ceremony styles.

It also has stunning Northern Pine trusses and an incredible 18-foot window, allowing all the natural light you could ask for while keeping with a neutral color palette.

Absolute perfection for any wedding style.

My clients love this wedding venue for multiple reasons, but one of the top reasons is the venue appoints a representative that will take care of every detail of your wedding. They're absolutely committed to making your day amazing, understanding it's about teamwork.
