I’m Lisa - a documentary photographer based just outside Austin in Lockhart, Texas, where life moves a little slower and stories have room to unfold.
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I picked up my first Canon 35mm film camera as a teenager and carried it everywhere - from my hometown of Austin to travels abroad - learning early on that the most meaningful images are often found in the quiet, in-between moments.
I spent over a decade in Philadelphia working as a full-time wedding photographer while also developing a deep love for street and documentary photography. After returning to Texas to be closer to family, I poured that experience into building a photography business rooted in connection, trust, and honest storytelling.
As a photographer, I believe my role is simple but deeply important: to listen first. Whether I’m documenting a wedding, a family, a lifestyle session, or a meaningful event, my goal is always the same - to capture real moments as they naturally happen, without forcing or staging what should feel true.
I aim to create an experience that feels calm, intentional, and human. One where you feel seen, comfortable, and confident knowing your story is being documented with care. With over fifteen years behind the camera, I bring both experience and intuition to every session - offering guidance when needed and space when it matters most.
When I’m not photographing, you’ll usually find me at home with my two rescue dogs, a peach-faced lovebird, and a small flock of chickens - soaking up the same simple moments I love to preserve for others.
