As an Austin wedding and event photographer since 2012, I’ve had the honor of capturing hundreds of love stories. Over the years, I’ve built an experience that feels relaxed, genuine, and personalized to each couple. I listen closely, and my goal is always to create photographs that reflect your vision - whether it’s an engagement session, wedding, or private event.

When a couple first inquires, my goal is to make the process feel effortless. I respond quickly, keep my communication friendly, and always bring a genuine excitement for the possibility of working together. From answering questions to helping navigate the planning process, I want couples to feel like they have a trusted guide in their corner from day one.
Helping You Feel Comfortable in Front of the Camera
Not everyone feels natural in front of the camera, and that’s okay! I always ask couples about their comfort level and reassure them that I’ll walk them through every step. My approach focuses on the chemistry you naturally share - I’ll guide you when needed but also “shoot through” the candid in-between moments that feel the most authentic and sincere. Expect laughter, playful prompts, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to just be yourselves.
A Photographer Who Knows Austin by Heart
Being born and raised in South Austin means I know this city inside and out - from tucked-away parks and sweeping skyline views to the best wedding venues in town. I love pairing that local knowledge with each couple’s vision, creating images that feel both timeless and distinctly Austin.
Behind the Scenes of a Wedding Day
Long before I arrive at your venue, I’m preparing for your day. The night before, I charge batteries, check gear, and review your wedding day timeline so I can familiarize myself with the schedule, bridal party names, and family details. On the morning of your wedding day, I set my intentions with a run or walk with my dogs. Next, I review the wedding venue location and give myself plenty of time to arrive without rushing (I am not a fan of rushing to a wedding!).
Once I’m there, I always have a camera ready - sometimes I catch fun, spontaneous moments like groomsmen carrying in their tuxes before I even walk through the doors. Moments like these allow me to meet the groomsmen and capture fun memories! From there, I check in with the couple, say hello, get a feel for the energy and how everyone is doing, and begin capturing the day as it unfolds.
Throughout the wedding, I balance being both a director when needed and an observer. I work side by side with the wedding coordinator (if the couple has a coordinator) to keep the timeline on track so that there are no delays because of photography, guide couples to the best locations for portraits, and capture everything from posed editorials to heartfelt candids. My goal is always to work efficiently so there is a balance of creativity while capturing your wedding day, efficiency, and fun that lets you soak in every moment without stress.
Candid + Editorial = The Perfect Balance
Your wedding photos should feel like you - natural, emotional, and full of genuine moments. The candid images happen on their own as the day unfolds, and I love capturing those raw, unplanned snippets of joy. When it’s time for portraits, I’ll step in with gentle direction - always keeping it positive and reassuring - so you feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera. That way, the romantic, editorial-style images look just as effortless and authentic as the candid ones.
Thoughtful Touches That Mean the Most
I believe the little things matter. For me, that often means really listening to my couples and paying attention the details that make them unique. One of my brides once shared her love for horses, so as a thank you - I surprised her with one of my fine art prints of two horses running. She loved it and now has it hanging in her home!
I also know how exciting it is to relive your wedding as soon as possible, which is why I always deliver 100 highlight images the very next day after the wedding! These thoughtful touches are my way of making the photography experience not only fun and easy, but also deeply personal and memorable.
